I am a Christian, a husband, a father, a veteran of the Marine Corps and a conservative.
In 2016, I became a born-again Christian, acknowledging Jesus as my authority. The philosophy of governance in the Bible has shown me that my conservative values are similarly aligned.
In 2017, I married my wife, Rebecca. Together we have five children: three with the good LORD and two young boys we are privileged to raise at home. Our hope is that our boys will one day come back to where they born and now being raised, here in Texas. Not for our sake, but to raise their own families.
I began my military career in 1996 in the United States Marine Corps, serving in artillery, the Marine Security Guard Program, and as a rotary-wing aviator. For 22 years, I served in high-stress, high-profile, and time-sensitive environments, leading Marines in Havana, Bogotá, Afghanistan, and through numerous deployments in austere conditions. I learned to make wise, timely decisions under pressure and to remain accountable to the people who depended on me.
My education includes extensive military training, civilian personal protection training, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Houston Baptist University, with a minor in Biblical Studies.
Service in my community continues today serving as a deacon at my local church as a member of the church security team, and a member of the Seniors Ministry. I also volunteer as a disciple-maker with The Navigators Ministry at Houston Christian University.
Humility, stewardship, accountability, and trustworthiness are the foundational principles I seek to live my life by and refuse to compromise on. I am guided by my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that service without integrity is meaningless, and that every decision should be for the people, by the people, honor God, protect families, and strengthen the community.
In summary: Why I should be your next County Commissioner
My philosophy of governance belief is that a local government should work for the people it serves—transparent in its actions and responsible in its stewardship of taxpayer money. Its always been what is right and wrong, not what is Left or Right. Our families deserve safe communities, reliable infrastructure, and leadership that places people above politics. As a leader I don’t see an ‘I’ or an ‘R’ or a ‘D’ next to a person’s name. I only see people who I am willing to collaborate and work with. My decisions as County Commissioner will reflect the interests of the people in our community, not my personal agendas. These interests of the people will be made with sound judgment, decisive action, and accountability. Responsible leadership keeps long-term community well-being and cost-effective solutions as a top priority.
Guided by my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, I would be honored to serve with integrity and lead with purpose as your next County Commissioner–ensuring that Fort Bend County remains a place where families and businesses can thrive.
